Parenting through adoption is different than parenting birth children. The love we have for them is not different. The midnight feedings, scraped knees and piano recitals are not different. What is different is that children born into their family NEVER have to wonder who they look like, or why their birth mother didnt parent them when they were so little.
"What could I have done that was so bad that my mom didn’t want me?"

Adopted children are seen as "special" or "chosen" or even "lucky." And they are! They are special because we love them, and we did choose them, or at least chose to adopt. Some children who would otherwise face a life of institutionalization and poverty, are lucky to have a family. However some children don't like feeling special, chosen or lucky. They want to be "normal, "whatever that is?

Our job is to educate you about the life long issues in adoption, not just how to get the baby into your loving arms. Our experienced staff has worked with all types of adoptive families, adoptees of all ages and the birth parents who make the ultimate sacrifice.
