ALW needs your help to recruit new adoptive parents. We are initiating a grass-roots approach to educating the community about the need for adoptive parents. There are two ways in which you can volunteer:

1. Take a Pledge and Pass It On. Make this Pledge: "I pledge to think of four families I believe would make excellent adoptive parents, talk with them about the serious need for adoptive families, and present them with an ALW brochure." Volunteers will be given four brochures. When your brochures are gone - your job is done.

2. Sign of Commitment to Waiting Children. ALW will provide each Volunteer Family Recruiter with 3 yard signs which say "It's time to Consider Adoption!" The signs (similar in size to a real estate sign) will be simple, tasteful, and will communicate the need for adoptive parents. We ask the Volunteer Family Recruiter to post the signs in their yard (and/or their neighbors yard-with permission) for at least one month.
