Adopting a Private/Indentified Child
Private AdoptionWho Can Adopt?
Couples and singles are eligible for this program. Couples must be married for at least one year. Families with children already in the home are welcome.

What Are the Services?
Adoption Links Worldwide (ALW) believes loving and nurturing families can be created as a result of private and identified adoptions. We believe that families pursuing this adoption type need an agency to support them and provide assistance whenever possible. ALW is pleased to provide:

• Adoption Home Study Assessments
• Post Placement Support
• Adoptive Parent Training

Couples and singles are eligible for this program. Couples must be married for at least one year. Families with children already in the home are welcome.

Private Adoption BabyIn addition, we frequently provide Birth Parent Counseling services to couples or single women and their families regarding the permanency of adoption. Adoptive families often seek the support of ALW when negotiating an open adoption with the birth family in these types of adoptions. Our staff can assist with explaining the many adoption myths, as well as fostering communication between families. Post Placement Supervision is required after the child comes home.
