Be A Volunteer Family Recruiter!
ALW needs your help to recruit new adoptive parents. We are initiating a grass-roots approach to educating the community about the need for adoptive parents. There are two ways in which you can volunteer:
I. Take a Pledge and Pass It On. Make this Pledge: "I pledge to think of four families I believe would make excellent adoptive parents, talk with them about the serious need for adoptive families, and present them with an ALW brochure." Volunteers will be given four brochures. When your brochures are gone - your job is done.
2. Sign of Commitment to Waiting Children. ALW will provide each Volunteer Family Recruiter with 3 yard signs which say "It's time to Consider Adoption!" The signs (similar in size to a real estate sign) will be simple, tasteful, and will communicate the need for adoptive parents. We ask the Volunteer Family Recruiter to post the signs in their yard (and/or their neighbors yard-with permission) for at least one month. When you have completed your rotation, please clean them up and return them to AL W for the next volunteer. To be an Volunteer Family Recruiter, call Cheryl (402) 556-2367.

Money raised or donated to ALW provides support, to our operating expenses, program development, marketing and advertising and most importantly, to children who continue to wait for a family.

Host a simple BBQ or tailgate party. Charge your friends and family $5 per meal and let them know the proceeds go to Adoption Links Worldwide. This is cheap, easy, fun and spreads the word about Adoption Links Worldwide.

Have a garage sale and send Adoption Links Worldwide half of your sales.

Ask for a special collection at your church or temple.
|

Encourage family and friends to donate in your name (or the name of your child) to Adoption Links Worldwide.

Donate in your child’s birth parents’ names on his or her birthday or adoption day.

Transfer stock to Adoption Links Worldwide.

Help with Subsidizing Program Development
Some families like to help with specific projects such as developing a marketing plan that could reach more adoptive families, or a media campaign to reach pregnant women in crisis who need an experienced therapist, or on a more global note, provide resources to develop or enhance adoption services in a third-world country. Adoption Links Worldwide needs gifts of $1,000 or more to be dedicated to any of these projects. If you can assist in this way, please call Cheryl at (402) 556-2367.
Employee Matching.
If your employer offers a Matching Gift Program, your gift to ALW can instantly double (or even triple) your support? Simply request matching gift information from your Human Resource Office, complete the form (usually takes less than 5 minutes) and
send it to us. We'll do the rest! Some companies that offer donor matching are: First Data, Conoco Inc., Delta Airlines, JCPenney Co, Pepsi Co, Toys R Us, Union Pacific, Wal-Mart and Wells-Fargo. Check with your company about "matching gifts."
