Types of Adoption: International Adoption and Domestic Adoption
International Adoption

Countless times since 1993, ALW has joined the hearts of children from around the world with families close by. While the journey is fraught with paper trails and bureaucracy, the destination is well worth it. We would be honored to assist you on your incredible path to embrace your child. Currently we are in need of adoptive parents for infants and toddlers from Haiti, China and Guatemala. To learn more about these countries, click on the link below.

Domestic Adoption

ALW has been and continues to be committed to children and families in this country as well. We focus on 3 types of domestic adoptions and provide continuous services to families to ensure that all the legal nuances of the process have been managed in the most efficient manner. In our Infant Program, we assist families who are committed to parenting African American newborns. The Foster Child Adoption Program serves school-aged children in Nebraska who have been removed from their birth families due to abuse or neglect. Finally, in a Private or Identified Adoption, there are birth and adoptive parents who have already selected each other and would like guidance and support through the adoption process. Wherever your heart lies, we are here to help. To learn more about each of these programs, click on the link below.
